Singles and Doubles Round Robin Events with fun for everyone

Rules: USATT rules govern play.  Enter only one event per start time, maximum 6 events total.  Gym opens at 9 am for 9:40 am start.  Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to warm-up, and check in upon arrival. START TIME IS DEFAULT TIME!  Unrated players must obtain a verified estimated rating from their coach or local club before entering.  See USATT.org for club directory or call James 916-308-3209.

 

Ratings: Latest ratings published at USATT.org as of 9/1/2010 will be used.

 

RR Format:  Play at least 2 matches; group winner advances to single elimination playoff. All matches are 3 out of 5 games to 11 points EXCEPT for Doubles which are 2 out of 3 to help keep on schedule. Doubles partners must be within 600 rating points of each other.

 

Event Fees:  1 = $20,   2 = $34,   3 = $46,   4 = $58,   5 = $69,   6 = $79.  Jr. Discount: $5 off your total if under 18 years of age.  Enter only one event per start time, maximum 6 events total.

 

Awards: Open Singles: 1st = $400, 2nd = $200, 3rd / 4th = $100. U-2375: 1st = $200, 2nd = $100.  U-2200: 1st = $150, 2nd = $75.  Hardbat, U-2025, and JRS: 1st = $100, 2nd = $50. Trophies awarded for 1st & 2nd in all other events.

 

***School Events: Register at the desk and pay just $5 each.  This event is non-sanctioned and is only for High School or lower grade students with no official tournament rating.

 

Directions:  2500 New Market Drive. Connect I-5 in Sacramento and take the Del Paso Road exit heading towards Arco Arena.  Turn left at Natomas Road, then take the next left and go past the football field to the school and gyms.

 

To Enter:  Mail check with entry form to James Therriault, 3146 Occidental Dr. #59, Sacramento CA 95826. Refunds will be given only if event requested is full or cancelled.

 

Entry deadline: Must be received with payment by Wednesday Sept 8th. Late entries are $10 extra and will be accepted only if there is space available in event requested.
